| SavageBMW recently became one of the first BMW centers in the U.S. to achieve Quality Management System certification and be awarded the BMW Quality Trophy. The award recognizes the successful completion of the QMS certification process, including participation from all 88 employees of SavageBMW.
“The trophy demonstrates the commitment of our whole team – from Client Advisors to Technicians – to deliver the best service and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction,” said Peter Savage, Owner and General Manager of SavageBMW. “It confirms our pledge to deliver the highest levels of service to our customers.”
To receive QMS certification and the award, SavageBMW completed a thorough 2 1/2 year program, centered upon the refinement, improvement and documentation of all business processes – thus creating maximum efficiencies. Finally, SavageBMW was tested by a third-party auditor and graded on its level of adherence to all QMS requirements.
“BMW of North America is pleased to present the BMW Quality Trophy to SavageBMW and its dedicated team,” said Darrell Hasslinger, QMS Program Manager. “QMS is a new program that has been adapted for the North American market from BMW’s European Quality System. It effectively addresses major business challenges and we believe it will become a proven approach for continuous improvement to deliver superior customer service.”
About QMS
QMS is a voluntary quality assurance system designed for BMW centers that provides a framework of business standards to improve internal communication and efficiency of processes to enhance customer loyalty and profitability.
QMS has been developed and refined at BMW centers around the world over the past several years and is differentiated from other quality assurance programs by its cross-departmental applications and approaches for achieving greater business efficiency. The ultimate goal of the program is to create a system that eliminates unnecessary costs, increases the flexibility of the business and achieves an ever-stronger customer focus. |
