If you have an older BMW that is not under warranty

Original BMW Parts covered by the BMW Lifetime Limited Parts Warranty include:

BMW’s Lifetime Limited Parts Warranty starts when your normal warranty ends
Original BMW Parts are always backed during the first 24 months/unlimited mileage by an extraordinary limited warranty on all parts and labor. When that ends, VPP begins. For as long as you own the car, BMW will pay the cost of repairing or replacing your VPP part - and you pay only for labor.

Nationwide Service
Whenever an eligible BMW Part is installed at an authorized BMW center, customers receive an invoice and a VPP Lifetime Limited Parts Warranty Certificate. This invoice and certificate are all you need to get VPP warranty service - at any authorized BMW center in the U.S.

Protect your investment: choose the BMW center
BMW’s Value Protection Program does not apply to repairs made with non-original BMW Parts or parts not installed by an authorized BMW center. Replacement parts installed under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty or any other BMW warranty are not covered by VPP.
