The BMW 5 Series Sedan expands the horizon of automotive design. Adaptive Headlights.
The optional Adaptive Headlights pivot as the vehicle enters a curve, directing light to exactly where it's needed: the road ahead.

Active Cruise Control.
Active Cruise Control (optional) maintains the driver's selected distance from the vehicle ahead - and accelerates to the selected maximum speed on the open road.

Head Airbag System.
A new generation of head airbags (Advanced Head Protection System) protects occupants in a side impact by inflating in front of the side windows.

Xexon Headlights.
Brighter, broader, further - the powerful illumination of the optional xenon headlights with dipped and high-beam functions makes night driving safer and more of a pleasure.
